Job summary

YASH Technologies in Bengaluru seeks a Sr. Solution Architect (D&T) with deep SAP BW experience to lead development, enhancements, and production support for SAP BW 7.5 on HANA. You will model data, extract data, and build reports for enterprise BI dashboards.

The role requires hands-on SAP BW, HANA CDS Views, and data warehouse design, plus collaboration with functional teams to meet reporting requirements and ensure smooth production support activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP BW/BI, including SAP BW 7.5 on HANA.
• Experience in modeling, extraction, and reporting for SAP BW.
• Experience in Production support and helping deliver enterprise BI dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, design, implement, and support enterprise BI dashboards and reports.
• Enhance and support SAP BW, with LO Cockpit and data extraction processes.

Job Summary

TheSr. Solution Architect, D&T, SAP BWpossesses in-depth knowledge and experience to work autonomously. The position is responsible for the SAP BW -Development, enhancements, with expertise in Production support. Have experience in Modeling, Extraction, reporting pertaining to SAP BW 7.5 on HANA .

This role requires hands-on experience inSAP BW, HANA CDS Views, data warehouse design, Extraction & Reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Act as an expert in leading, designing, implementing and supporting the enterprise BI dashboards and reports.

• Work experience in Enhancements and supporting the enterprise BW , expertise in HANA-BW data modelling using Eclipse Tool.
• Work with Users and Functional teams to gather & document reporting requirements and to use the underlying data sources/data warehouses to meet business requirements.
• Act as an expert in Daily Production support activities pertaining to SAP BW , CDS Views
• Worked on Production support data load issues , bugs , tickets from Business and enhancements.
• Expertise in setup table fill concept, extraction from source systems like S4 Hana, ECC, APO
• Worked extensively on extraction from source system like S4 , APO, HR , Flat file etc . Expertise in LO Cockpit Extractions, Flat File Extractions and Generic Extractions. Having knowledge on using SAP delivered information structures, User defined information Structures for extracting data from different Logistic Information system (LIS).
• Liaise with the SAP Functional Teams to work on solutioning on all Gaps/Enhancements or bug fixes.
• Expertise in SAP BI/BW Data-ware house & Development of BW Objects, which includes Prototyping & Technical Specifications.
• Conduct training programs and knowledge transfer sessions for junior developers as needed.
• Other duties as assigned

Education

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science required or
• Bachelor's Degree Information Systems required

Work Experience

• Minimum 5 years 5-8 years of relevant experience required

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Expertise in SAP BI/BW Data-ware house.
• Development of BI/BW Objects, which includes Proto Typing & Technical Specifications.
• Modeling of Custom Info objects, Info object maintenance, Data Sources, Info Sources, DTP’s, Info packages, PSA, Advanced DSO objects, DSO Objects, Info cubes, Data Marts, Info Providers, Multi Providers, Aggregates, APD's,
• Worked extensively on LO Cockpit Extractions, Flat File Extractions and Generic Extractions. Having knowledge on using SAP delivered information structures, User defined information Structures for extracting data from different Logistic Information system (LIS).
• Expertise in BW Advanced data modelling using Eclipse Tool.
• Knowledge on SAP HANA Attribute views, Analytic views, and Calculation views etc.
• Knowledge/Understanding on Reporting tools Power BI.
• Good expertise on Advanced BW Modeling, CDS Views, ABAP coding
• Exposure/Knowledge on Odata service/binding the service etc.
• Worked extensively on Finance Extractors, HR Head count, Flat File Extractions and Generic Extractions. Having knowledge on using SAP delivered information structures, User defined information Structures for extracting data from different Logistic Information system (LIS).
• Expertise in front-end Business Warehouse Components like Queries, Calculated Key figures, Restricted Key figures, Structures & Cells, Variables, Exceptions and Conditions, RRI, Web Items and Web Templates & Reports, Input Ready Queries/Planning Templates.
• Data load Management, Event processing and reporting Optimizations.
