Job summary

Atos seeks a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer with 12+ years of Rails experience to lead backend development across Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai. You will partner with product owners to plan features, coordinate cross-location teams, and ensure robust delivery with Jira reports and sprint rituals.

• 12-15 years of Ruby on Rails development experience.
• Familiarity with Jira and weekly/monthly reports; sprint retrospective.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails libraries such as RSpec and Resque.
• Understanding of server-side templating languages such as Liquid or Slim.
• Server-side CSS preprocessors such as Sass.
• Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• A knack for writing clean, readable Ruby code and troubleshooting with developers.
• Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
• Understanding of scalable application design principles.
• Able to create database schemas to support business processes.
• Proficient with versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial or SVN.
• Familiarity with development aids like Bower, Bundler, Rake.

Responsibilities

• 12-15 Years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.
• Work closely with Product owner to understand product roadmap, carve out feature roll-out, building product backlog, sprint planning.
