Job summary

Medico Hub in Siliguri, West Bengal invites a Consultant – Retina Surgeon to join on a Full-Time or Visiting basis. Required are MS/DNB/DO Ophthalmology, with a Fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery preferred and valid MCI registration.

The role includes OPD retina evaluations, handling retinal disorders, and performing vitreoretinal surgeries as needed. 2–5 years of relevant experience and strong diagnostic skills are desired, along with excellent communication and teamwork to coordinate care

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of ophthalmology experience
• Experience in retinal diagnosis and surgery preferred
• Valid Medical Council Registration

Responsibilities

• Conduct ophthalmology OPD consultations and retinal evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage retinal disorders, including diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment and macular diseases.
• Perform vitreoretinal surgical procedures as per expertise.
• Manage retinal emergencies and provide appropriate treatment.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups.
• Interpret retinal imaging and investigations, including OCT and fundus imaging.
• Coordinate with other ophthalmology specialists for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure high standards of patient care.
