Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and monitor critically ill infants, children, and adolescents.

• Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
• Educate and counsel parents/guardians on complex conditions and treatments.
• Maintain detailed patient records and participate in quality improvement.
• Oversee patient admissions and participate in critical care transport.

Job description

• Diagnose, treat, and monitor critically ill infants, children, and adolescents with life-threatening conditions (sepsis, severe asthma, organ failure, trauma, post-surgery).
• Manage mechanical ventilation, ECMO, CRRT (renal support), advanced hemodynamic support, and nutritional therapies.
• Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nurses, respiratory therapists, surgeons, cardiologists) for comprehensive care plans.
• Educate and counsel parents/guardians, explaining complex conditions, treatments, and prognosis.
• Maintain detailed patient records, participate in audits, quality improvement, teaching, and research.
• Oversee patient admissions, stabilize patients in emergencies, and participate in critical care transport services.
