Job summary

Neyera Magic Eye Care Hospital in Panvel, Maharashtra, seeks an ophthalmologist to diagnose and treat eye conditions, perform exams and manage treatment plans. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat various eye conditions, disorders and diseases including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and corneal diseases.
• Perform comprehensive eye examinations with visual acuity tests, intraocular pressure measurements and assessments of ocular structures and function.
• Utilize OCT, slit-lamp biomicroscopy, fundus photography and visual field testing to evaluate and monitor patients.
• Prescribe and manage treatment plans, including medications, therapies and surgical procedures to address eye health needs.
• Perform ophthalmic surgeries such as cataract extraction, corneal transplant, refractive and glaucoma procedures with patient safety as a priority.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care, including counselling, education and follow-up examinations.
• Collaborate with optometrists, primary care physicians and other specialists to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of diagnoses, treatments and other relevant information.
