Job summary

Medico Hub in India is hiring a Consultant Ophthalmologist for multi-site assignments across Kolhapur, Belagavi, Solapur and Miraj. The role requires strong clinical and diagnostic ophthalmology skills and willingness to travel between centers.

Candidates with MS/DNB Ophthalmology or DO and/or Retina fellowship will be favored; experience in cataract, glaucoma, retina surgeries; travel-ready; full-time position with excellent exposure and growth.

Qualifications

• MS Ophthalmology or DNB Ophthalmology or DO required.
• Fellowship in Retina will be an added advantage.
• Consultant Ophthalmologist role with Retina focus may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and OPD consultations
• Diagnose and manage cataract, glaucoma, refractive errors, retinal and other ophthalmic disorders
• Perform ophthalmic surgeries and procedures per expertise
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Manage emergency ophthalmic cases
• Counsel patients regarding diagnosis, treatment plans and preventive eye care
• Coordinate with optometrists, OT staff and hospital management
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure quality patient care
