Job summary

AICS Consultancy Service Private Limited in Ankleshwar, Gujarat seeks an experienced ophthalmologist to examine patients, diagnose eye conditions, and manage treatment plans across a range of ocular diseases.

Ideal candidates have 2–8 years in ophthalmology, MS or DNB, and valid medical registration. You will perform exams, and, as qualified, cataract or glaucoma procedures, while educating patients and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• 2-8 years of experience in ophthalmology.
• MS or DNB from a recognized institution.
• Valid medical registration with the appropriate medical council.
• Relevant clinical or surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients to assess vision and eye health.
• Diagnose and treat eye conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, and retinopathy.
• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
• Prescribe medications, corrective lenses, and other treatments.
• Perform eye surgeries such as cataract and glaucoma procedures as qualified.
• Manage eye injuries and infections with follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
• Educate patients about eye care and preventive measures.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Examining patients to assess vision and overall eye health.
• Diagnosing and treating eye conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, corneal disorders, and retinal diseases.
• Performing comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
• Prescribing medications, corrective lenses, and other appropriate treatments.
• Performing eye surgeries, including cataract surgery, glaucoma procedures, retinal surgery, and corneal surgery, as qualified.
• Managing eye injuries, infections, and other acute eye conditions.
• Monitoring patients with chronic eye diseases through regular follow-up examinations.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, medical histories, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
• Educating patients about eye care, medications, treatment options, and preventive measures.
