A leading engineering services firm in Mumbai is seeking an Associate to undertake noise and air quality modelling for infrastructure projects. Candidates should have 2-5 years of experience in relevant modelling tools and Python programming, as well as proficiency in AutoCAD and GIS. Responsibilities

• Responsible for undertaking noise / air quality modelling for infrastructure and development projects
• Provide drawing by using CAD and GIS software based on specifications, sketches, and verbal instructions
• Develop and modify the in-house Python code to facilitate the noise / air quality modelling
• To handle ad hoc projects as per required.

Key Competencies

• At least 2-5 years of relevant hands-on experience in using noise / air quality modelling (such as RoadNoise / CadnaA / CALINE / AERMOD). With experience in other air quality model (e.g. CMAQ, WRF, SMOKE) will be an advantage.
• At least 2-5 years of applying Python code in noise / air quality modelling
• At least 2-5 years of relevant hands-on experience in using AutoCAD and/or GIS
• With experience in other environmental modelling will be also considered, such as water quality models (e.g. Delft 3D).
• Good command of both spoken and written English
• Independent, proactive, result-oriented and able to handle multi-task with strong business acumen
