Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Kidney Transplant Surgeon based at Accord Superspeciality Hospital in Faridabad. The Kidney Transplant Surgeon will perform pre-operative evaluations, kidney transplant surgeries, and post-operative management for patients with end-stage renal disease. Responsibilities include collaborating with nephrologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective transplant care. The role involves developing individualized treatment plans, monitoring patient recovery and long-term graft function, and participating in transplant selection committees. The surgeon will also engage in clinical documentation, adherence to transplant protocols, quality improvement initiatives, and may contribute to teaching and training of junior medical staff.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine, with demonstrated expertise in managing complex medical and surgical patients.
• Advanced skills in Surgery, with specific experience in kidney transplant procedures and perioperative care.
• Exposure to related surgical specialties such as Orthopedic Surgery and Plastic Surgery is beneficial for multidisciplinary case management.
• Understanding of Ophthalmology and other subspecialties is an advantage for comprehensive patient assessment in a superspeciality setting.
• Recognized medical degree (MBBS, MS, DrNB or MCh) and completed residency in General Surgery, followed by accredited fellowship or super-specialization in Urology, Transplant Surgery, or related field.
• Valid medical registration and eligibility to practice as a transplant surgeon as per Indian regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to work in high-acuity environments, with excellent clinical judgment, procedural skills, and attention to patient safety.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, with commitment to ethical practice, evidence-based medicine, and continuous learning.
