Job summary

Yatharth Super Speciality Hospitals in Uttar Pradesh seeks an Internal Medicine specialist to evaluate and manage adult patients across OPD, IPD, Emergency and ICU settings. Qualifications

• MD in General Medicine from an NMC-recognized institution.
• Valid NMC/State Medical Council registration.
• Fresh MD graduates or candidates with up to 5 years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong clinical knowledge in Internal Medicine and evidence-based patient care.
• Excellent diagnostic, clinical decision‑making, and patient management skills.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Willingness to participate in emergency duties and rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult patients presenting with acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Provide comprehensive consultation services in OPD, IPD, Emergency, and ICU (where applicable).
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluation, investigations, and guidelines.
• Manage patients with diabetes, hypertension, respiratory, infectious, GI, renal, endocrine disorders and others.
• Interpret laboratory investigations, ECGs, X-rays, CT scans, MRI reports for patient management.
• Stabilize and manage medical emergencies, including sepsis and metabolic emergencies.
• Coordinate patient care with specialists and allied healthcare professionals.
• Conduct daily ward rounds and monitor patient progress throughout hospitalization.
• Provide pre-operative medical evaluation and optimization for surgical patients.
• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records.
• Ensure NABH compliance and infection control practices.
• Participate in emergency duties and on-call rotations.
• Contribute to audits, quality improvement initiatives, CMEs, and academic activities.

• Provide comprehensive consultation services in OPD, IPD, Emergency, and ICU (where applicable).
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluation, investigations, and evidence-based guidelines.
• Manage patients with diabetes, hypertension, respiratory diseases, infectious diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, renal disorders, endocrine disorders, and other medical illnesses.
• Interpret laboratory investigations, ECGs, X-rays, CT scans, MRI reports, and other diagnostic findings relevant to patient management.
• Stabilize and manage medical emergencies, including sepsis, metabolic emergencies, poisoning, and acute medical conditions.
• Perform routine bedside procedures within the scope of Internal Medicine practice.
• Coordinate patient care with specialists and allied healthcare professionals for multidisciplinary management.
• Conduct daily ward rounds and monitor patient progress throughout hospitalization.
• Provide pre-operative medical evaluation and optimization for surgical patients.
• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive healthcare, lifestyle modifications, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, prescriptions, discharge summaries, and electronic medical records.
• Ensure compliance with NABH standards, infection control practices, and hospital clinical protocols.
• Participate in emergency duties, rotational on-call services, and code blue response when required.
