Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive surgical consultation, diagnosis, and post-operative care.
• Perform elective and emergency general surgical procedures independently.
• Manage patients with acute surgical conditions and emergencies.
• Perform and assist in laparoscopic and open surgeries.
• Conduct OPD consultations, pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups.
• Ensure proper documentation and informed consent.
• Coordinate with anesthesia, critical care, radiology and other specialties.
• Participate in emergency/on-call duties as required.
• Maintain patient safety, infection control and clinical quality.
• Contribute to strengthening General Surgery services in Jagdalpur.

Department: General & Laparoscopic Surgery

Experience: 6 years +

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive surgical consultation, diagnosis, treatment and post-operative care.
• Perform elective and emergency general surgical procedures independently as per clinical expertise.
• Manage patients with acute surgical conditions and surgical emergencies.
• Perform and assist in laparoscopic and open surgical procedures.
• Conduct OPD consultations, pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups.
• Ensure appropriate clinical documentation, informed consent and adherence to hospital protocols.
• Coordinate with Anesthesia, Critical Care, Radiology, Gastroenterology and other specialties for multidisciplinary patient care.
• Participate in emergency/on-call duties as required.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection control and clinical quality.
• Contribute to developing and strengthening the General Surgery services at Jagdalpur.
• MBBS + MS/DNB in General Surgery from a recognized institution.
