Job summary

TransUnion in India, Maharashtra is seeking a Senior Consultant in Analytics Consulting to lead credit risk analytics engagements from solution design through implementation and monitoring.

You will partner with clients to translate business challenges into analytical solutions, develop scorecards and predictive models, and manage multiple workstreams while ensuring high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in STEM with 6+ years analytics and modeling experience.
• Experience in credit risk modeling, scorecard development, model monitoring, validation, portfolio analytics, or risk strategy analytics.
• Strong understanding of lending products including credit cards, personal loans, auto loans, mortgages, or SME lending.
• Experience working in a consulting environment—dealing directly with clients or business stakeholders to translate business problems into analytical solutions.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL or similar analytical tools.
• Experience in predictive modeling, scorecard development, and portfolio analytics.
• Ability to work with large datasets and apply statistical techniques to solve business problems.
• Experience using analytical and reporting tools to generate actionable insights.

Team Overview

The Analytics Consulting Group partners with financial institutions and fintech clients to solve credit risk and lending challenges through advanced analytics and data-driven insights. The team delivers consulting, modeling, and portfolio management solutions that help clients improve business performance, optimize risk strategies, and drive growth. The existing team rolls up into a centralized GCC group that partners with various markets to provide niche and high-quality solutions. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
