The Consultant will be responsible for overall project implementation on the ground, with guidance from Head Office. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project implementation and in research and will have the essential skills to undertake the following activities:
LOCATION: Raipur, India
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Program Coordination and Implementation
- Translate program strategy into annual work plans, timelines and activity trackers.
- Coordinate implementation across community, facility and district-level interventions.
- Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and facilitate corrective action.
- Conduct regular field visits and implementation reviews.
- Government and Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate with district/state health authorities, NHM, health facilities and other partners.
- Organize review and coordination meetings and follow up on action points.
- Support effective communication with government and program partners.
- Research
- Support in conducting research activities on a time-to-time basis as per project mandates
- Analyze program data and prepare periodic reports, briefs and presentations.
- Document lessons, innovations and evidence for scale-up
- Monitoring and Documentation
- Maintain work plans, trackers, meeting records, risk registers and program documentation.
- Coordinate training, workshops and field activities.
- Support preparation of donor and government reports.
- Ensure timely completion of deliverables.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications
BDS/BAMS/BHMS with MPH/MHA
Experience
Mandatory Experience
5 years of experience working in the domain of public health delivery system engagement, with an understanding of the national health programs and their implementation.
Desirable experience
1-2 years of experience in Program Management or a related field is desirable.
Skills & Competencies
- Good spoken and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise reports and ability to conduct presentations, and to articulate options and positions concisely.
- Proven skills to build capacities and mentor technical teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong project management, team building and interpersonal skills.
- Strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large audiences including senior leadership.
- Excellent networking, influence and management skills to interact with leaders, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.
NATURE OF EMPLOYMENT:
The selected candidate shall be offered a fixed-term contract for six months
