Job summary

Surbana Jurong in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, is seeking a Construction Planning Manager with 5–8 years of experience to lead detailed scheduling and project controls for PgMC – APCRDA.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in construction planning, scheduling, or project controls.
• Experience in infrastructure, urban development, or government projects.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 / MS Project and MS Excel.
• Experience in preparing baseline programmes, look-ahead schedules, progress reports and recovery plans.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor detailed construction schedules, milestones and project plans.
• Track progress against approved baselines and targets.
• Identify delays, risks and schedule deviations and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and ad-hoc progress reports and project updates.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors and client representatives.
• Review programmes, work plans, resource requirements and recovery schedules.
• Maintain project planning dashboards, MIS and progress records.
• Support project review meetings and management reporting.
• Ensure timely updating of project schedules and monitoring of progress.

Key Responsibilities

Experience & Skills

• 5–8 years of experience in Construction Planning, Project Planning, Scheduling, or Project Controls.
• Experience in infrastructure, urban development, or government projects.
• Hands-on experience in Primavera P6 / MS Project and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of construction planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and project controls.
• Experience in preparing baseline programmes, look-ahead schedules, progress reports, and recovery plans.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Experience in Smart City / Urban Development / Government infrastructure projects will be preferred.
