Job summary

Elite Contractors seeks a skilled Land Surveyor to perform field surveys, measure boundaries, elevations and topographic features, and create precise maps using GPS, total stations, AutoCAD, Civil 3D and GIS tools.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, outdoor work, and collaboration with architects, engineers and contractors on project planning, while maintaining records and complying with local regulations. Based in Chennai, India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Land Surveyor or Survey Technician.
• Proficiency in surveying equipment (GPS, total station, levels).
• Strong knowledge of CAD/GIS software and mapping tools.
• Understanding of property laws, land regulations, and boundary principles.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and field documentation abilities.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Mapping & CAD Skills - Assess their ability to create accurate maps and drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or GIS software.
• Data Interpretation & Reporting - Check their capability to analyze survey data, interpret measurements, and produce precise documentation.
