Job summary

Sense is seeking an experienced electrical project supervisor for FMCG/Chemical/Oil & Gas sectors in Vadodara, India. The role requires handling drawings, standards, workflow sequencing, and changes in consultation with CM. You will oversee earth protection, motor starters, VSDs, MCCs, ProfNet, heat tracing, and field/sub-station installations.

The position emphasizes HSSE compliance, safety reporting, interface coordination, and timely completion of punch items and certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG / Chemical / Special Chemical / Oil and Gas projects.
• Proficient in English (speaking, writing, reading).

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, interface drawings, and applicable standards to ensure availability.
• Ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
• Check and ensure correct workflow sequence.
• Initiate changes in consultation with CM.
• Supervise earth & lightning protection activities.
• Supervise motor starters, VSDs, MCCs, ProfNet communications, heat tracing, Remote IO systems and digital instruments (Industry 4.0).
• Supervise field and sub-station electrical equipment installations.
• Supervise cable support systems (cable trays, conduits, ducts, power/control/lighting earth cables).
• Oversee wiring, termination, splicing, functional tests and acceptance tests by authorities.
• Ensure HSSE standards compliance and report safety observations and measures.
• Coordinate with other contractor personnel for interfaces.
• Release completed work to successor disciplines.
• Monitor status vs plan and follow up quantities and certification.
• Compile and follow up punch items.

• Supervise works pertaining to the earth & lightening protection
• Supervise works Experience in Motor starters, VSD's and Intelligent MCC's on ProfNet Communication, Heat Tracing, Remote IO Systems + Digital Instruments (Industry 4.0).
• Supervise works pertaining to Field and Sub-station electrical equipment installations.
• Supervise works pertaining for cable support systems like cable tray networks, conduits, ducts, cable laying works like Power, Control, heat tracing, lighting, earth cables,
• Supervise works pertaining to wiring, termination, splicing, functional check/tests and acceptance tests of appropriate authorities.
• Ensure compliance with HSSE standards and regulations
• Report on all safety observations & induced measures in report
• Co-ordinate with other contractor's personnel for interface.
• Release works complete to successor disciplines
• Follow up status of the work and compare planned and actual figures
• Follow up installed quantities & Certification of work quantities
