Job Description: Connectivity Automation Senior Developer

We are seeking an experienced Connectivity Automation Developer with deep expertise in systems integration and network automation to join a dynamic global IT team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and building advanced automations for our critical network connectivity infrastructure. You will be integrating various platforms such as Ansible, ServiceNow, GitHub, and SolarWinds, while also working on network standardization through YANG modelling. Python programming is a required skill.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement end-to-end automation solutions to integrate disparate systems, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows for connectivity operations.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide scalable integration solutions using Ansible, ServiceNow, GitHub, and other platforms.
• Create and maintain robust API-based integrations.
• Develop and write Python scripts and logic within Ansible playbooks for network orchestration.
• Standardize and document network configurations using YANG modelling for network devices, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Test, troubleshoot, and resolve system integration and workflow issues, ensuring high levels of performance, security, and reliability.
• Continuously monitor and analyze the efficiency of integrated solutions, proposing and implementing improvements.
• Participate in regular review sessions with IT peers to discuss best practices, new technologies, and potential optimizations.
• Offer training and support to other IT team members on integrated systems and platforms.

Required Skills & Experience (Must-Have)

• 5+ Years of experience in each of the following:
• Automation & Orchestration: Advanced expertise in writing and managing Ansible Playbooks.
• Programming/Scripting: Proficient in Python and Ansible.
• IT Service Management & CMDB: Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow or a similar enterprise CMDB platform.
• Version Control: Proficiency with GitHub or similar systems.
• Network Modelling: Strong experience with YANG data modelling.
• APIs: Proven experience with RESTCONF & NETCONF APIs and data encoding (XML, JSON).

Preferred Skills & Experience (Good‑to‑Have)

• Cloud & DevOps: Experience with Azure, AWS, or Azure CI/CD pipelines.
• Operating Systems: Proficiency with Linux.
• Other Technologies: Familiarity with Apache, MySQL, GIT, Open API, and Template Engines like Jinja2.
• Designing integrations for complex systems and ensuring cross‑platform compatibility.
• Staying updated with the rapid evolution of tools and technologies.
