Job summary

Wipro Limited in India is seeking a focused ITSM professional to populate and govern the CMDB, align activities with Change Management, and keep CMS data accurate and baselined. The role requires ensuring regular baselines, conducting CMDB audits, and delivering communications plans using the RACI model.

The candidate should bring hands-on experience with ServiceNow, hardware asset management, and CMDB tooling, along with strong analytical and multi-site collaboration skills to support ongoing

Qualifications

• Experience with CMDB population and change management processes.
• Knowledge of document control, source code management, and defect management tools.
• Ability to create a CMDB repository and understand the software development lifecycle.
• Experience working in a multi-site environment and using SCM/build automation tools.
• Familiarity with Definite Media Library concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Populate the CMDB as part of ITSM duties.
• Ensure alignment of activities with Change Management process.
• Maintain accuracy of CMS information and baselines.
• Perform regular snapshots and protect baselines.
• Trigger auditing processes on the CMDB.
• Develop and execute a communications plan for CMDB changes (RACI).
• Ensure backups and data protection.
• Recommend improvements for Service Improvement Plans (SIPs).
• Ensure Service Asset and Configuration Management procedures meet objectives.
• Drive process sponsorship and continual improvement with metrics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Populating the CMDB
• Ensuring the pre-defined activities are aligned with the Change Management process
• Ensuring the CMS provides accurate and up to date information.
• Ensuring regular snapshots and Configuration Baselines are taken and protected
• Triggering an auditing process on the CMDB
• Implementing a Communications plan upon changes in the CMDB, using the RACI model.
• Ensuring backups are taken as appropriate
• Considering the usage of a Definitive Media Library as appropriate.
• Making recommendations for Service Improvement Plans
• Ensuring the Service Asset and Configuration process is performed as designed.
• Developing a Service Asset and Configuration Management process m
• Ensuring the Service Asset and Configuration Management process is fit for purpose.
• Ensuring process description meets objectives
• Sponsorship, design, and continual improvement of the process and its metrics.
• F ollowing the organization's policies relating to employment
