We are building a new team that will bring new vehicle models and annual updates to market through the client's digital vehicle configuration platform. We are hiring meticulous and analytical Config Analysts to drive the critical function of data transformation and validation within this process.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
  • Inputs and Master Build Creation:
    • Collect and process diverse data files from various client stakeholders / product teams, including:
      • Product Specifications (Options Master): A complex Excel file detailing full specifications, standard/optional features, and initial business rules.
      • Add-ons / Accessories: Data on retailer‑fit add‑on parts, including availability and applicability rules.
      • Pricing: Priced specification versions containing list prices for products and all optional features for specific markets.
      • Technical Data: Technical Data Sheets from client engineering teams, listing technical specifications by variant.
      • Other Data: Briefs for "Curated Choices" and "Key Features," translation/copy decks, and digital/creative asset requirements.
    • Supplement and manipulate raw input data to optimize for the front‑end application.
    • Create and maintain a master "International" build using a proprietary configuration tool, capturing the full superset (150%) specification across all possible variants, features, and options for all markets.
    • Quality assurance testing of the master build in the configurator UI.
  • Market Localisation, Quality Assurance, and Handover:
    • Tailor the master build for individual markets by applying market‑specific applicability rules (Standard, Optional, Not Available) based on the relevant section of the specifications master.
    • Integrate market‑specific pricing by loading pricing files to apply local currency and prices.
    • Implement localised technical data and copy, including footer caveats and translations.
    • Apply any unique local business rules that are specific to a market, such as tax calculations or legal DISCLAIMERS.
    • Perform comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA) using the automated QA tool and manual checks to validate feature applicability, business rules, and overall accuracy.
    • Facilitate market‑specific configurator reviews with relevant client regional teams / market stakeholders, incorporating feedback and securing final sign‑off.
    • Manage continuous collaboration and data handover to the technical partner using a JIRA ticketing system, capturing all briefs, amends, build history, and approvals for auditing purposes.
    • Provide structured data files to the technical partner, including core Excel workbooks (data models), common files (shared rules, specs, copy), pricing files, and detailed amended templates.
Required Skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, meticulous and precise in handling complex data to ensure absolute accuracy in the final product.
  • Strong data management skills, with proven ability to work with large, multi‑tab spreadsheets and complex datasets.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving mindset, able to understand, interpret, and model complex business rules and data relationships.
  • Capable of managing QA cycles, tracking feedback, and ensuring all validation steps are completed efficiently.
  • Highly organised and capable of managing tasks with a structured project life cycle.
  • Comfortable learning and using various software and platforms, including JIRA and proprietary data management tools.
  • Able to work effectively with cross‑functional teams, technical partners, and client stakeholders.
  • Experience in the automotive industry.
  • Familiarity with product configurators.
  • Previous experience using JIRA in a project management or operational capability.
QUALITIES & CHARACTERISTICS
  • A proactive and methodical approach to problem‑solving and data validation.
  • Driven by a commitment to accuracy and high‑quality deliverables.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex data issues to diverse audiences.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, always seeking ways to enhance processes and efficiency.
  • Resilient and adaptable, capable of managing tight deadlines within a prescribed cycle of time.

If you require accommodations or flexibility, please discuss this with the hiring team during the interview process.
