As a Principal Web Developer you will build websites and apps using web and industry best practices. You will provide accessible solutions whatever the device or input method. You will trail blaze new and innovative solutions using the latest browser-supported technologies, meeting clients’ needs.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Expertise level knowledge of HTML5 & Browser APIs: Tags, HTML API (Geo, Storage, More APIs), Canvas APIs, META Tags and Semantic markup.
• Expertise level knowledge of CSS3: CSS Object Model, Selectors & Hierarchy, Responsive Design, and Tailwind.
• Expertise level knowledge of implementing a Design System from scratch using design tokens, modularization using Atomic Design principles.
• Expertise level knowledge of ES6: Functional programming principles, DOM Selectors, Event Handlers, Jquery - Functions, Callbacks, Promises, Debugging tools & approach.
• Expertise level of knowledge of Typescript: Type Annotations, Classes & Interfaces, Generics, Union & Intersection Types, Type Guards, Modules.
• Expertise level of knowledge of NextJS and ReactJS, advanced React APIs like hooks, context etc, and state management using Redux.
• Expertise in building UI components using Storybook.
• Experience in creating build scripts from scratch using Webpack / Vite / Gulp and deploying web applications using Vercel / Cloudflare / AWS.
• Experience in web component development using a Headless CMS such as Contentful / ContentStack.
• Experience in integrating and implementing SaaS search solutions such as Algolia / Coveo.
• Ability to independently create technical design of an Epic utilising the knowledge of JavaScript design patterns and CSS best practices.
• Experience in reviewing the technical design and implementation of other frontend team members.
• Ability to suggest better alternatives to existing solutions for improving the solution quality (both functional and non-functional problems).
• Ability to coach and line-manage senior frontend engineers, to help them grow their career.
