Long Shot Innovations is seeking a Concurrent Auditor to conduct ongoing audits of banking and financial transactions and ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures. The role focuses on verifying cash transactions, vouchers, receipts, payments, and accounting entries.

Candidates with banking experience or an audit background are preferred, with 1-2 years of relevant experience in concurrent, bank, or internal audits.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant audit experience.
• Banking experience preferred.
• Audit background preferred.
• Strong understanding of banking operations and audit procedures.

Responsabilités

• Conduct concurrent audits of day-to-day banking and financial transactions.
• Verify cash transactions, vouchers, receipts, payments, and accounting entries.
• Review loan and credit-related transactions and documentation.
• Verify KYC, AML, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
• Check transactions against approved policies, limits, and procedures.
• Identify discrepancies, irregularities, control gaps, and potential risks.
• Review banking operations and supporting documents.
• Prepare audit observations and periodic audit reports.
• Coordinate with relevant teams for clarification and closure of audit observations.
• Maintain audit working papers and supporting documentation.
• Escalate significant audit exceptions to the concerned authority.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned audit activities.

• Banking experience is preferred.
• Candidates with an Audit background are preferred.
• Good understanding of banking operations and audit procedures.
• Knowledge of KYC, AML, compliance, and financial controls.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
