Augle AI is a deep-tech startup founded by IIT Bombay alumni, building AI and 3D Vision powered robotics systems for manufacturing. We seek a Computer Vision Software Intern to develop and deploy CV solutions for robotic automation in real-world industrial contexts.

You will collaborate with AI, robotics, and software teams to build perception pipelines, train models, and integrate vision systems into production environments, with a focus on edge-device deployment and scalable data workflows.

Formación

• Proficiency in Python with hands‑on experience in PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Strong foundation in Computer Vision, Linear Algebra, Probability and Deep Learning.
• Practical experience with OpenCV and image/video processing.
• Exposure to Linux, Git/GitHub, Docker, CUDA, ONNX, TensorRT, OpenVINO, NVIDIA Jetson, or robotics/ROS is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Research, prototype, and implement computer vision algorithms for defect detection, pose estimation, object detection, and 3D perception.
• Develop automated and scalable video annotation and data-processing pipelines for dataset creation and model training.
• Train, evaluate, and fine-tune deep learning models using PyTorch or TensorFlow, including open-weight vision models.
• Work with image and video data using OpenCV and other computer vision libraries.
• Build intuitive GUIs and dashboards using PyQt, Tkinter, React, or similar technologies.
• Collaborate with robotics and software engineers to integrate and deploy models on edge devices such as NVIDIA Jetson.
• Experiment with model optimization and deployment technologies such as ONNX, TensorRT, or OpenVINO.
• Document experiments, evaluate results, write clean and modular code, and communicate findings to the team.

Role Overview:

As a Computer Vision Software Intern, you will work on developing and deploying computer vision solutions for robotic automation and real-world industrial applications. You will collaborate with AI, robotics, and software teams to build perception pipelines, automate video data workflows, train and fine-tune deep learning models, and contribute to integrating vision systems into real-time production environments.

Qualifications:

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), or a related field.
• Strong foundation in Computer Vision, Linear Algebra, Probability, and Deep Learning.
• Proficiency in Python with hands‑on experience in PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Practical experience with OpenCV and image/video processing.
• Understanding of transfer learning, model evaluation, and fine‑tuning of deep learning models.
• Familiarity with 3D Computer Vision and libraries such as Open3D or scikit‑image is a plus.
• Exposure to Linux, Git/GitHub, Docker, CUDA, ONNX, TensorRT, OpenVINO, NVIDIA Jetson, or robotics/ROS will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and an ability to write clean, modular code.
• Candidates with relevant Computer Vision/Deep Learning projects, internships, research work, or up to 1 year of relevant experience are preferred.
