Responsibilities Summary
You will give our robots "eyes" and the ability to understand their surroundings. You’ll focus on the stack that transforms raw sensor data into deep spatial awareness—object detection, tracking, and semantic segmentation in messy, real-world environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, train, and optimize deep learning models (CNNs, Transformers) for real-time object detection and classification.
- Implement algorithms for visual odometry, depth estimation, and obstacle detection.
- Cura and augment high-quality datasets from real-world robot logs to improve model robustness in edge cases.
- Optimize models to ensure high-speed inference on the robot’s onboard compute hardware.
What We’re Looking For
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and stays on the pulse of the latest CVPR/ICCV research.
- A strong foundation in Linear Algebra, Probability, and Geometry.
- Proficiency or strong willingness to build skills in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and OpenCV.
- Bonus: Experience with C++, ROS2, or synthetic data generation (NVIDIA Isaac Sim).
