Job summary

Ramayana Healthcare & Diagnostics is seeking a Medical Typist – Radiology & Ultrasound to support the diagnostic team with accurate ultrasound and radiology report preparation.

The role requires comfortable work in a clinical setting, strong typing, and careful attention to confidentiality and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of prior experience in a medical/healthcare environment is required.
• Experience with radiology, ultrasound, diagnostic centre or hospital reporting preferred.
• GNM qualification is highly preferred.
• Strong typing skills and familiarity with medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Type and prepare ultrasound/radiology reports accurately and efficiently.
• Work closely with radiologists for report preparation and corrections.
• Ensure proper formatting, spelling, terminology and overall accuracy of reports.
• Proofread reports before finalisation.
• Maintain patient information and documentation with strict confidentiality.
• Organise reports and assist with day-to-day reporting workflow.
• Coordinate with the clinical/front-desk team for smooth patient reporting.

About the Role

Ramayana Healthcare & Diagnostics is looking for a Computer Typist Radiology & Ultrasound to support our diagnostic team with accurate and timely preparation of ultrasound and radiology reports.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a clinical environment, has good typing and documentation skills, and understands the importance of accuracy, confidentiality and timely reporting in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Type and prepare ultrasound/radiology reports accurately and efficiently.
• Work closely with radiologists for report preparation and corrections.
• Ensure proper formatting, spelling, terminology and overall accuracy of reports.
• Proofread reports before finalisation.
• Maintain patient information and documentation with strict confidentiality.
• Organise reports and assist with day-to-day reporting workflow.
• Coordinate with the clinical/front-desk team whenever required for smooth patient reporting.

Candidate Requirements

• 1–2 years of prior experience in a medical/healthcare environment is required.
• Previous experience with radiology, ultrasound, diagnostic centre or hospital reporting will be strongly preferred.
• General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) qualification is highly preferred.
• Good computer and typing skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working efficiently.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Comfortable working in a professional clinical environment.
