Job summary

Swagatham Global Connect is seeking an experienced Computer & Laptop Technician for its Maldives store. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, upgrading, and maintaining desktops, laptops, and related hardware.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with hardware repairs and Windows OS troubleshooting. This full-time position requires relocation to the Maldives, a food and shared accommodation benefit, and a 9-hour workday with one weekly off.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, upgrading and maintaining desktops and laptops.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals.
• Experience in a computer retail/service environment is preferable.
• Ability to troubleshoot Windows operating systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair desktop computers and laptops.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and software.
• Replace and repair laptop components including screens, keyboards, batteries, RAM, SSD/HDD, motherboards.
• Perform hardware upgrades, preventive maintenance, and software troubleshooting.
• Carry out data backup and recovery tasks when required.
• Troubleshoot printers, networking devices, and other peripherals.
• Identify faults and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Test repaired systems for proper functionality.
• Maintain tools, equipment and service records.
• Provide professional technical support and ensure customer satisfaction.

Job Summary

A reputed Computer & Technology Store in the Maldives is looking for an experienced Computer & Laptop Technician to join its technical support team. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in diagnosing, repairing, upgrading, and maintaining desktops, laptops, and related computer hardware.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: USD 700800 per month, based on experience
• Food Allowance: Provided by the company

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair desktop computers and laptops.

Job Requirements

• Male candidates only.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Computer & Laptop Technician.
• Strong knowledge of:

  • Windows OS installation

  • Basic networking
  • Hardware upgrades and maintenance
• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve technical problems.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced computer service environment.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in a computer retail shop or service center is preferred.
• Knowledge of laptop motherboard repair / chip-level troubleshooting will be an added advantage.
• Experience handling different brands of laptops and desktops is preferred.
• Good problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a technical team.
