About the Role
Nalanda Vidyaniketan is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented,and academically driven Computer Science Coordinator to lead and monitorthe implementation of the Computer Science curriculum across Grades I–X. Therole demands strong leadership, academic monitoring, and data-drivendecision-making to ensure excellence in teaching-learning processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinateand ensure effective implementation of the Computer Science curriculumacross Grades I–X.
- Monitorsubject-related reports for accuracy, consistency, and timely submission.
- Ensurecurriculum delivery aligns with academic standards and institutionalgoals.
- Identifygaps and implement corrective academic strategies.
- Guideand supervise Computer Science teachers in preparing structured lessonplans.
- Ensurelesson plans meet curriculum objectives and academic benchmarks.
- Monitoradherence to submission timelines and review cycles.
- Provideconstructive feedback to improve teaching quality and planning.
3. Activity Monitoring & Review
- Trackassignments and activities assigned through digital platforms (e.g.,Microsoft Teams).
- Ensuretimely completion of activities by students and teachers.
- Reviewand validate activity reports submitted by faculty.
- Consolidateweekly activity reports for academic review.
4. Academic Reporting & Verification
- Verifyweekly academic plans, syllabus coverage, and progress reports.
- Ensurealignment between planned curriculum and actual classroom delivery.
- Maintainaccuracy and integrity in all academic documentation.
- Coordinatewith teachers to address reporting gaps.
5. Assessment Tracking & Data Analysis
- Monitortimely posting of student marks in MCB (or relevant ERP).
- Analyzestudent performance data and academic trends.
- Generateinsights from weekly academic activities.
- Supportdata-driven academic interventions and improvements.
- Trackand review student E-portfolio updates.
- Ensureproper documentation and timely submissions.
- Maintainquality standards in digital portfolio records.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- B.Ed.(preferred for school academic roles).
Experience (As per Market Standards)
- Minimum3–5 years of relevant experience in teaching Computer Science and/oracademic coordination in a school environment.
- Priorexperience in curriculum coordination, academic monitoring, or leadershiproles is highly preferred.
- Experienceworking with digital learning platforms and school ERP systems is an addedadvantage.
(Note: Most school coordinator roles typically require atleast 3+ years of experience, while 5+ years is preferred for leadershipresponsibilities.) ()
