Job summary

Param Software is seeking a CAD Support Engineer to provide technical support for CAD applications and ensure smooth installation, configuration, and integration of CAD systems with Siemens Teamcenter. The role requires hands-on experience with AutoCAD, CATIA, and NX, and the ability to support Teamcenter integration.

You will collaborate with engineering and IT teams, maintain system documentation, and help resolve CAD/PLM issues to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting CAD applications and supporting users.
• Hands-on experience with CAD-PLM integrations, especially CAD-Teamcenter.
• Strong English communication for emails, calls, and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for CAD applications (AutoCAD, CATIA, NX).
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CAD applications and related environments.
• Perform CAD–Teamcenter integration activities.
• Support CAD–Teamcenter integration and resolve related application issues.
• Manage user, application, and environment configurations within Teamcenter.
• Identify and resolve CAD/PLM technical issues to ensure business continuity.
• Coordinate with engineering, IT, and technical teams for issue resolution.

Job Purpose:

Param Software is looking for a CAD Support Engineer responsible for providing technical support for CAD applications and ensuring the smooth installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and integration of CAD systems with Siemens Teamcenter.

Aspiring candidate should have strong hands-on experience in supporting AutoCAD, CATIA, and NX, along with integration of CAD with Teamcenter/PLM Environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for CAD applications, primarily AutoCAD, CATIA, and NX.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot CAD applications and related environments.
• Perform CAD–Teamcenter integration activities.
• Support and troubleshoot CAD–Teamcenter integration and related application issues.
• Manage user, application, and environment configurations within Teamcenter.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve CAD/PLM technical issues to ensure business continuity.
• Coordinate with engineering, IT, and technical teams for effective issue resolution.
• Maintain technical documentation related to CAD and Teamcenter environments.

Required Skills – Must Have

CAD Support

• Experience in CAD applications installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and user support with Strong working knowledge of:
• AutoCAD
• CATIA
• NX
• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally through emails, calls, meetings, and day-to-day business interactions.

Siemens Teamcenter (Added Advantage)

Experience with Siemens Teamcenter will be preferred and considered an added advantage.

Candidates with added hands-on experience in the following areas will be given preference:

• Teamcenter Installation
• Teamcenter Configuration
• Teamcenter Administration
• Teamcenter Integration
