Job summary

Dar invites a motivated Designer to join its Structures and Bridges Design team, working from Dar’s offices in Pune or Bangalore. You will collaborate with London-based colleagues on international bridge and infrastructure projects, contributing design and documentation through multiple tender packages.

Ideal candidates have around 4 years of professional experience in architecture or related fields, with strong 3D modelling skills, proficiency in Rhino/Grasshopper/Maya, and fluent English

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent professional architecture qualification.
• Around 4 years of professional experience in architecture, urban design, infrastructure, or a related field.
• Confidence in dealing with complex 3D modelling, with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
• A collaborative mindset with initiative, curiosity, and willingness to be challenged.

Responsibilities

• Contribute at design level across multiple international projects, including bridges and civil infrastructure.
• Evaluate, select and apply advanced design and technical methods for project assignments through tender documents.
• Work closely with London-based core team and the wider Dar/Sidaracollaborative network.
• Develop bold and compelling architectural concepts with a focus on form, geometry, materiality and spatial experience.

Evaluates, selects and applies advanced design and technical methods, with responsibility for project assignments including programming, design development, production and coordination through tender documents which may be multiple, large or complex in scope.

We are looking for a motivated, talented, and energetic Designer to join our growing Structures and Bridges Design team in London, working from Dar’s local offices in Pune or Bangalore, India. You will become an integral part of the London-based design team, working closely with colleagues in London and across the wider Dar and Sidara network on exciting bridge and civil infrastructure projects around the globe.

Our team brings together architecture, engineering, landscape, and urban design within a collaborative design environment. We are particularly interested in designers who can create beauty from functionality and rationality, with a strong focus on user experience and design quality.

We are seeking a candidate to contribute at a design level across multiple international projects, ideally with around 4 years of professional experience. Candidates with prior experience in urban, infrastructure, or complex architectural projects, particularly bridges, will stand out. Proficiency in Rhino, Grasshopper, and Maya is strongly preferred.

About You

To be considered for the role, you should demonstrate:

• Confidence in dealing with complex 3D modelling, with excellent attention to detail.

In addition, the ideal candidate will:
