Job summary

Dar is seeking a Senior Computational Designer in Pune to lead computational design efforts across architectural and interior projects. You will apply parametric modeling, automation and performance analysis to deliver innovative, data-driven design solutions that meet client and project goals.

The role requires 8–20 years of experience, strong collaboration with architects, engineers and interior designers, and proficiency with Rhino + Grasshopper, Dynamo, and Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Computational Design, or related field.
• 8–20 years of experience in computational design, architecture, or interior design.
• Proficiency in parametric modelling and automation.
• Experience with Rhino + Grasshopper and Dynamo; BIM with Revit.
• Strong communication within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications & Skills

• Technical Proficiency:
• Parametric modelling tools: Rhino + Grasshopper, Dynamo, or similar platforms.
• Programming/Scripting: C#, Python, or visual scripting for automation.
• BIM integration: Working knowledge of Revit and interoperability between computational tools.
• Strong understanding of architectural and interior design principles, building systems, materials, and construction techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
• A portfolio showcasing computational design projects is a plus.

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

• Experience with automation and AI-driven tools for design optimization.
• Knowledge of digital fabrication, material research, or computational geometry.
• Familiarity with collaborative workflows, data visualization, and interoperability between design software.
• Understanding of cloud-based computing or scripting for large-scale data processing for design applications.
• Generate multiple design iterations to evaluate various options and facilitate decision-making processes through computational techniques.
