Job summary

DEIC-L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC in Coimbatore Campus is seeking a BE engineer with hands-on experience in composite processes and CAD tooling. The role focuses on process sheets, route cards, RTM, filament winding, prepregs, and spares tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience in process sheet & route card generation.
• Knowledge of Vacuum Infusion RTM technology & Filament winding; prepreg autoclave is a plus.
• Experience in CAD design, splice ply generation and nesting file generation.
• Knowledge of Tool design and FE structural analysis.
• Ability to communicate with customers and vendors (internal and external).
• Go-to-person to lead project till FAI prove-out and coordinate with PMG and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Generate process sheets and route cards.
• Apply Vacuum Infusion RTM, Filament winding and prepregs where relevant.
• Design CAD tooling and perform nesting file generation.
• Assist in FE structural analysis of tooling and components.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, PMG and manufacturing teams.
• Lead the project through FAI realization and prove-out.
