Job summary

Agile Technology is seeking an Assistant Manager - Component Development Electronics to lead end-to-end development of electrical/electronic components from concept to production. You will define electrical specifications and interfaces and work with suppliers for design, validation and sourcing.

You will review schematics, PCB layouts and system architecture, conduct DFMEA/PFMEA, plan DVP&R for testing, and ensure compliance with automotive standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
• 5-10 years of experience in E-component development or automotive electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical design fundamentals and circuit behavior.
• Experience in schematic design tools (Altium, OrCAD, Eagle, etc.).
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Modbus, Ethernet).
• Familiarity with DFMEA, APQP, PPAP processes.
• Understanding of EMI/EMC, grounding, and shielding practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical issues, failures, and field concerns.
• Drive cost optimization, value engineering, and localization activities.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and quality teams for smooth product launch.
• Participate in APQP, PPAP documentation and reviews.

• Exposure to simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, LTspice).
• Hands-on experience in PCB design and testing.
• Familiarity with functional safety (ISO 26262) is an advantage.
