Sovos in Navi Mumbai offers a Compliance Services Associate role to support GST return filings and client queries. You will guide clients on the GST portal, validate data, and help ensure accurate tax submissions. The role blends client support with data analysis and issue resolution.

Qualifications

The Work You'll Do:

The Compliance Services Associate is responsible for providing comprehensive support to clients in all aspects of GST return filing, helping them understand and use the features of the company's GST portal. The role involves addressing client queries related to GST rules, data validations, and technical issues. The Customer Solution Executive will also assist clients with data analysis when needed, helping enable accurate and efficient tax filings.

The Compliance Services Associate is responsible for providing comprehensive support to clients in all aspects of GST return filing, helping them understand and utilize the features of the company's GST portal. The role involves addressing client queries related to GST rules, data validations, and resolving technical issues. Additionally, the Support Executive will assist clients with data analysis when needed, ensuring accurate and efficient tax filings.

Client Support & Assistance:

• Offer comprehensive support to clients for filing GST returns via the SOVOS GST Solutions platform, facilitating an efficient and accurate process.
• Guide clients through the portal's features and functionalities to ensure proficient usage.
• Address and resolve client inquiries regarding GST regulations, validation procedures, and data entry errors with expertise.

Training and Guidance:

• Provide clients with guidance on optimal practices for utilizing SOVOS GST Solutions and ensuring adherence to GST filing regulations.
• Deliver customized support for individual client requirements, including rectification of errors in submitted returns and resolving queries related to GST calculations.

Data Analysis Assistance:

• Assist clients in reviewing GST data-sales, purchases, and tax liabilities for accurate filing.
• Validate data to catch discrepancies before return submission.

Query Resolution:

• Address any client queries concerning GST laws, regulations, and changes in tax policies.
• Resolve any system-related issues that may arise during the return filing process, ensuring quick turnaround times.

Feedback and Improvements:

• Solicit client feedback on the portal’s usability and recommend enhancements or additional features to improve the user experience.
• Work closely with the technical team to resolve persistent system issues or bugs.

What We Need From You:

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, finance, or related field.
• Prefer candidates familiar with GST laws and regulations.

Experience:

• Experience in client support, especially in tax, GST, or accounting, is preferred.
• Knowledge of GST filing, data validation, and error resolution is beneficial.

Technical Skills:

• Skilled in operating GST software or portals, as well as Microsoft Office - particularly Excel.
• Demonstrates a strong capacity to rapidly grasp and adapt to new technologies and tools.

Communication Skills:

• Clear verbal and written communication of GST concepts.
• Professional client interaction and quick issue resolution.

Problem-Solving Skills:

• Analytical mindset to troubleshoot client issues and assist with data analysis and validation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
