Job summary

Rapidue Technologies is seeking an EPR Compliance Specialist to manage documentation, regulatory filings, registrations, and stakeholder coordination across multiple EPR verticals. The role focuses on ensuring adherence to CPCB/SPCB guidelines and regulatory timelines.

The ideal candidate will have a background in environmental science or related field and 0–2 years of experience in EPR or regulatory affairs, with strong MS Office skills and excellent documentation abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Law, Management or related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in EPR, environmental compliance, regulatory affairs or waste management.
  • Knowledge of EPR regulations, CPCB/SPCB guidelines, regulatory portals and filing processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update compliance records, including agreements, registrations, authorizations, certificates and statutory documents.
  • Review and verify compliance documents of Producers, Recyclers, Collection Partners and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with CPCB/SPCB portals for annual returns, reports and filings.
  • Manage EPR registrations, renewals and portal submissions.
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities and onboarding of entities.

Role Overview

Responsible for managing EPR compliance activities, including documentation, regulatory filings, registrations, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring adherence to applicable environmental regulations across various EPR verticals.

Key Responsibilities
Documentation & Compliance

Maintain and update compliance records, including agreements, registrations, authorizations, certificates, and statutory documents.

Review and verify compliance documents of Producers, Recyclers, Collection Partners, and other stakeholders.

Ensure documentation accuracy and readiness for audits and regulatory inspections.

Regulatory Filings & Compliance

Coordinate with stakeholders for timely completion of EPR compliance obligations, including credit transfers, wherever applicable.

Prepare and submit annual returns, reports, and statutory filings through CPCB/SPCB portals.

Maintain compliance trackers, reports, and support internal reporting requirements.

EPR Registration & Portal Management

Manage EPR registrations, renewals, amendments, and related compliance activities.

Review documentation and ensure timely submission through applicable regulatory portals.

Provide guidance to stakeholders on EPR requirements and documentation.

Regulatory & Stakeholder Support

Coordinate responses to notices and queries from CPCB, SPCBs, and other regulatory authorities.

Support onboarding of Producers, Recyclers, Collection Partners, and other authorized entities.

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders through meetings, calls, and emails for timely compliance execution.

EPR Compliance Management

Ensure compliance with applicable EPR regulations, guidelines, and amendments issued by CPCB, SPCBs, MoEF&CC, and other authorities.

Monitor regulatory updates, support audits, identify compliance gaps, and recommend corrective actions.

Support compliance activities across EPR verticals including Plastic Waste, E-Waste, Battery Waste, Waste Tyres, Used Oil, and other notified EPR frameworks.

Eligibility & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Law, Management, or a related discipline.

0 - 2 years of experience in EPR, environmental compliance, regulatory affairs, or waste management.

Knowledge of EPR regulations, CPCB/SPCB guidelines, regulatory portals, and statutory filing processes.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Strong documentation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Good organizational and multitasking abilities with a focus on regulatory timelines.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with accuracy and professionalism.
