Job summary

Experian is seeking a Compliance professional in India, Maharashtra to manage day-to-day regulatory activities, stakeholder coordination, and governance deliverables. The role involves regulatory inspections, data requests, and ensuring adherence to guidelines across business units.

The incumbent will stay updated on regulatory changes, perform testing, and collaborate with Risk and Legal to mitigate risks while promoting a strong compliance culture through training and awareness initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in Compliance activities including regulatory stakeholder management, open issue management, preparing deliverables for governance meetings and regulators, Compliance Testing.
  • MBA/ PGDBM from a reputed institute. Either of the certifications i.e. CS/ LLB or any other relevant certification shall be an added advantage.
  • Sound knowledge of regulations and experience pertaining to Credit bureau, Banking and Fintech industry shall be an added advantage.
  • Effective co-ordination skills with various stakeholders including the regulator
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with respective Business Units during Regulatory Inspections, Audits, examinations etc. for obtaining and sharing data requirements.
  • Assist in interpreting and providing regulatory advice and oversight on compliance matters to Business Units
  • Stay current on regulatory environment and expectations. Assist in identifying requirements from various regulatory directions and disseminating the same to the concerned Business Unit for awareness and implementation.
  • Assisting in handling periodic and ad-hoc queries and data requests from the regulator through continuous co-ordination and follow-up with Business Units. Carrying out sanity checks of the data before sharing the same with the regulator.
  • Support in performing Compliance Testing of Business Units to check adherence to regulatory guidelines. This will include defining scope, conducting walkthrough, obtaining data, sample testing, highlighting gaps and drafting observations for the report.
  • Collaborate with Risk, Legal and other key groups to assess risk and recommend mitigating controls for new products and processes
  • Support in creating a healthy compliance culture through the organisation through an effective Compliance Training
  • Obtaining in-depth understanding of business line, operating processes & products and services.
  • Develop and manage strong working relationships with Business Units

Job Description
