Job summary

Millennium is a global investment firm seeking a Compliance Analyst to join the Compliance Department in Bangalore, India. The successful candidate will support the APAC Compliance team in coordinating requests, administering compliance processes, and maintaining related records and reporting.

They will assist with policy updates, regulatory tracking, and broader compliance projects and initiatives, collaborating with colleagues worldwide to drive disciplined risk management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field.
  • 0–3 years of financial industry experience, preferably in compliance.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of financial markets and compliance risks.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration across levels globally.
  • Detail oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining the compliance program with a focus on PAD.
  • Review personal account dealing requests per policies.
  • Lead resolutions to PAD related queries.
  • Analyze large data sets and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure data entries are complete and retained.
  • Identify and remediate compliance issues with stakeholders.
  • Support general compliance program including monitoring and SMCR.
  • Collaborate with colleagues globally.

Meet the Team:
The Firm is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance Department in the Bangalore, India. The successful candidate will support the APAC Compliance team in coordinating requests, administering compliance processes, and maintaining related records and reporting. They will also assist with policy updates, regulatory tracking, and broader compliance projects and initiatives.

What You''ll Do:

  • Assist in the maintenance of Millenniums compliance program and records with a primary focus on Personal Account Dealing (PAD) policy and controls.

  • Review of employee personal account dealing requests and queries in line with Millenniums policies and procedures.

  • Lead and find appropriate resolutions to internal PAD related queries.

  • Collect, process and analyze large data sets in a timely manner, including, for example, employee financial statements and internal metrics.

  • Maintain a detailed and organized workflow to ensure data entries are complete, accurate and retained.

  • Identify and escape compliance related issues and work with internal stakeholders to appropriately remediate.

  • Involvement in the maintenance of general compliance program including electronic communication, monitoring and surveillance as well as the Senior Managers and Certification Regime.

  • Collaborate and work closely with colleagues globally.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelors degree in finance, Economics or a related field is preferred, with a strong academic record.

  • 0 - 3 years of financial industry experience (preferably in similar role in Compliance)

  • Strong Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel and PowerPoint) skills.

  • An understanding of financial markets and compliance risks.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members across all levels globally.

  • Detail oriented, organized, and able to work independently.

  • Operates with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines.
