Position Summary
The Executive Total Rewards serves as the compensation administrator for the organization, responsible for the accurate and timely execution of compensation operations, data management, and Workday system administration for all compensation-related processes. This role is the operational backbone of the Total Rewards team, ensuring compensation data integrity, smooth cycle execution, and reliable reporting to support decision-making across HR and the business.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation Operations & Payroll Inputs
- Prepare, validate, and submit compensation-related payroll inputs across geographies (merit increases, bonuses, incentives, allowances, one-time payments, off-cycle adjustments) within agreed payroll cut-off timelines.
- Coordinate with regional Payroll and HR Operations teams to ensure accurate and reconciled inputs, resolving discrepancies before processing.
Data Consolidation & Trackers
- Own and maintain consolidated compensation trackers across business units and geographies, ensuring a single source of truth for compensation actions.
- Reconcile data across Workday, trackers, and source documents; investigate and resolve mismatches.
Reporting & Analytics
- Build and manage recurring and ad hoc compensation reports and dashboards (e.g., compa-ratio, range penetration, cost of increases, headcount cost, exception tracking).
- Support leadership and business stakeholders with data extracts and analysis for reviews, audits, and planning.
Workday System Administration Compensation
- Act as system administrator for all compensation-related approvals and workflows in Workday, including business process configuration, approval routing, and troubleshooting.
- Manage compensation data loads (EIBs), compensation plan assignments, eligibility rules, and mass actions.
- Support Workday testing (UAT) for compensation-related releases, enhancements, and annual cycle configuration.
- Maintain compensation-related security roles and ensure appropriate access controls.
Annual & Cyclical Compensation Processes
- Provide end-to-end operational support for annual cycles merit, bonus, and promotion planning including data preparation, statement generation, uploads, audits, and post-cycle reconciliation.
- Support off-cycle actions such as promotions, market adjustments, and retention awards.
Benchmarking & Survey Management
- Manage submission of compensation survey data to providers (e.g., Mercer, Aon, WTW, Radford) and maintain benchmarking libraries.
- Support job-to-survey matching and maintenance of salary ranges and structures.
Governance, Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compensation actions comply with internal policy, approval matrices, and statutory requirements across geographies (minimum wage, statutory pay components, pay equity data as applicable).
- Maintain SOPs, process documentation, and audit trails for all compensation processes.
- Handle all compensation data with strict confidentiality and adherence to data privacy standards.
Stakeholder Support
- Respond to compensation-related queries from HRBPs, managers, and employees within defined SLAs.
- Support new-hire compensation inputs, offer/fitment data, and job architecture/grade mapping maintenance.

Qualifications and Experience
- 2 to 3 years of experience in Compensation, Payroll, HR operations. preferably in a large or global organization.
- Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivots, large data sets); comfort working with high-volume, sensitive data.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
