Certification or training in Health Education / ASHA / Community Mobilization (Preferred)
Local language fluency and familiarity with community needs and cultures are highly valued
Serve as a liaison between hospital services and underserved or rural communities
Educate community members on health practices, disease prevention, nutrition, hygiene, and vaccination
Assist with public health campaigns, health camps, immunization drives, and awareness events
Identify and refer individuals who need medical care to appropriate hospital departments
Help patients navigate access to hospital resources, insurance, and social support systems
Monitor chronic patients in the community and provide basic home care guidance or follow-ups
Collect and maintain accurate field data for reporting health trends and intervention needs
Support emergency response or outreach during outbreaks, natural disasters, or health crises
Build trust and rapport with marginalized populations to ensure inclusive healthcare delivery
Collaborate with social workers, nurses, doctors, and NGOs to address social determinants of health
