Role Overview
We are looking for aCommunications Associateto support outreach, branding, digital communication and content activities across the organisation. The role will involve website management, social media, content creation, SEO, newsletters, event communication, creative development and coordination with internal teams and external communication partners.
Key Responsibilities
Outreach & Branding
- Support the upkeep of the organisation's website through timely content updates.
- Draft news pieces, event write-ups and project updates for review by the Head – Human Resources.
- Upload and update content on Centre pages based on inputs received from Centres.
- Ensure all web content follows the organisation's design language and style guidelines.
- Upload and manage content in podcast libraries.
Social Media & Digital Communication
- Schedule and publish social media posts as per the approved content calendar.
- Track daily posts from Centre social media handles and identify content for amplification.
- Assist Centres in developing content for their respective target audiences.
- Compile website and social media analytics for monthly audit reports.
- Carry out basicSEO activities, including keyword optimisation, meta descriptions and image tagging.
Content & Newsletter
- Coordinate with Centres to collect content, photographs and event details for outreach activities.
- Support the monthly newsletter by gathering inputs, drafting sections and preparing layouts for review.
- Proofread and quality-check outreach and communication material before release.
- Maintain an organised repository of outreach content, images, videos and press coverage.
Creative & Event Communication
- Design social media creatives, event posters, invitations and other communication collaterals in line with branding guidelines.
- Provide on-ground communication support for organisational and Centre events, including:
- Photography
- Videography
- Live social media posting
- Post-event reporting
- Support coordination with external agencies and partner communication teams for joint campaigns.
Required Experience & Profile
- 3–4 years of relevant experiencein Communications, Digital Marketing, Content, Social Media, PR or a related field.
- Graduate inMass Communication, Journalism, Design or a related field.
- Freshers with a strong portfolio may be considered.
- Strong visual storytelling ability with the ability to convert research and fieldwork into compelling stories throughwords, images and video.
- Hands‑on experience withCanva, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, basic video editing, social media scheduling tools, website CMS and MS Office.
- Fluent inEnglish, Hindi and Gujarati, with strong writing and proofreading skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive and capable of managing multiple deadlines.
- High integrity, discretion and a collaborative approach.
