Job summary

SAMSUNG E&A is seeking an experienced Commissioning Specialist – Water Electrolysis to back project proposals, engineering reviews, commissioning activities, and operation management of Water Electrolysis Plants. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and successful project execution.

You will coordinate with licensors, vendors and clients, lead pre-commissioning and commissioning execution, and ensure safe, efficient project delivery across EPC environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of operational experience in water electrolysis plants (AEC/PEM).
• Strong hands-on knowledge of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities is essential.
• Experience with EPC, petrochemical, or licensor environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review ITBs, contracts, engineering docs, HAZOPs, 3D models and process simulations.
• Prepare technical docs, budget estimates and manpower plans.
• Develop pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures and work packages.
• Coordinate with licensors, vendors and clients for project delivery.
• Lead pre-commissioning and commissioning execution on site.
• Monitor schedule, progress, manpower and equipment planning.
• Manage subcontractors and site activities; support operations of electrolysis plants.

• Review ITB, contracts, engineering documents, HAZOP, 3D models, and process simulations

• Develop pre-commissioning & commissioning procedures and work packages
• Coordinate with Licensors, Vendors, and Clients
• Lead pre-commissioning and commissioning execution
• Monitor project schedule, progress, manpower, and equipment planning

• Support operation and maintenance of Water Electrolysis Plants (AEC/PEM)

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Pre-commissioning & Commissioning
• Hands-on experience in Water Electrolysis Process (AEC/PEM) – Mandatory
• Experience with EPC / Petrochemical / Licensor companies preferred
• Knowledge of Aspen HYSYS / PRO-II, HAZOP, and engineering reviews
• Willingness to travel for project assignments
