Job summary

Serving Skill in Mumbai and Delhi is seeking a Profile Commercial Underwriter. The role requires understanding of Property (SFSP, IAR, Large risk), Engineering (Project & Annual), Marine and Misc lines of business.

You will perform risk analysis, risk acceptance, policy coverage decisions, and prepare RI slips for CO. You will also meet brokers/customers to tailor terms and ensure TAT and compliance per underwriting guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Risk analysis, risk acceptance, risk selection, policy coverage (wording, add-ons, exclusions/inclusions, special warranties, pricing & deductions, reinsurance adherence, risk management overview, claims review) within underwriting guidelines
• Preparation of RI slips & discussion with CO
• Carry out meetings with brokers/customers to understand their requirements and design the insurance terms accordingly
• Maintain TAT and compliance as per UW authority matrix
