Job summary

PVR Limited is seeking an Assistant Vice President - Commercial to lead direct and indirect procurement, capex projects, and subcontracting across PVR INOX operations. You will own strategy, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations to optimize cost and quality.

The role requires extensive experience in procurement and supply chain, with hands-on SAP MM ERP exposure, and a track record of driving value in process-driven manufacturing or hospitality contexts.

Qualifications

• Procurement in process-driven industries like manufacturing and hospitality.
• Experience with large capex procurements and project procurement.
• Engineering graduates preferred for technical alignment.

Position: Assistant Vice President - Commercial

Experience: 20+ Years as Procurement & Supply Chain professional

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Direct & Indirect Procurements
• Project procurementsHeavy Capex procurementManpower SubcontractingEngineering revisions and maintenance procurementService buying must be peoples manager with direct reporting team
• Developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and leading the procurement team to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of goods and servicesMonitor market trends and economic factors and proactive working as per future trends
• Managing Supplier Contracts and Suppliers relationships for better deliverables to identify and mitigate risks of organization basis changing trends in marketEffectively implementing and monitoring project progresses and reporting to stakeholders
• Leading & Managing Team and creating resourceful commercial organization
• SAP MM module or equivalent ERP working experience

Qualifications:

• Any Graduate Engineering graduates will be preferred
• Must have working experience in process driven industries like manufacturing, hospitality with fair knowledge of constructions, projects, big capex procurements
