Job summary

Siemens Infrastructure Project Management seeks a commercial finance partner for Domestic/Export projects. You will help ensure financial transparency and provide decision-ready information to the organization.

Key duties include maintaining project books in SAP, optimizing cash flow and gross profit, managing contracts and claims, and coordinating with customers and vendors. A background in MBA Finance or equivalent and SAP/Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• MBA Finance or equivalent degree with 3–4 years experience in finance/project management
• SAP experience and advanced Excel skills
• Good communication with stakeholders
• Vendor management or sales bidding experience preferred
• Familiar with MS Office and SAP

Responsibilities

• Ensure project books and records in SAP are accurate and aligned with guidelines
• Support Project Manager to optimize gross profit, cash flow and assets
• Proactively communicate with customer representatives to resolve commercial issues
• Drive contract management including opportunities and claims during project delivery
• Optimize working capital to ensure positive free cash flow
• Knowledge of Commercial Project Management and related accounting concepts

Within the Siemens Infrastructure Project Management, you will be the key commercial partner for the Domestic/Export projects. You will be contributing to the financial transparency and ensure that the organization is having the necessary information for decision making on hand.

• Ensure the accuracy of project books and records and keeping our systems updated, e.g. SAP and ensure compliance with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines.
• Support the Project Manager in Project execution and set targets that are managed with due professional care and optimize the project gross profit, cash flow and assets and financing instruments.
• Proactively communicates with customer's representatives and manages solving of commercial issues.
• Drive Contract management throughout the project delivery phase including proactive opportunity and claim management strategies to maximize the project outcome.
• Optimize operating working capital throughout the project lifecycle to ensure positive free cash flow.
• Has knowledge of Commercial Project Management.
• Is aware about concepts in relation to POC accounting, NCM, Forex, Taxation. Add-on experience in PE management and accounting will help.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• MBA Finance, BCOM, MCOM, BMS or a comparable education degree
• Practical understanding of Project Management
• Preference will be given to Certified “S" category Commercial Project managers (Siemens Internal)
• Have SAP and advanced level of Excel skills will have added advantage.
• Have good communication skill to deal with different stakeholders within/outside organization.
• First professional experience (3-4 years) in the finance area, ideally project management/vendor management or sales bidding
• Familiar in using MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP
• Open-mindedness and communication skills, the ability to work in a team.
