Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies is seeking an Android Audio Framework Engineer with strong hands-on experience in C++, Android Audio Framework, and AOSP.

The candidate should be proficient with AudioFlinger, AudioPolicyManager, AudioService, AudioManager, and have knowledge of AOSP source code, Linux, and debugging tools like ADB and Logcat. This role is based in Coimbatore, India, and requires deep expertise in audio components and IPC mechanisms.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Android Audio Framework using C++.
• Hands-on experience with Android Audio Framework / AOSP Audio.
• Hands-on experience working with AOSP source code.
• Experience with key Android Audio components such as AudioFlinger, AudioPolicy / AudioPolicyManager, AudioService / AudioManager, AudioFocus & Audio Routing, AudioTrack / AudioRecord, Audio HAL.
• Strong understanding of C++, OOP, Multithreading, Synchronization, IPC/Binder, and AIDL.
• Good knowledge of Linux and command-line debugging.
• Hands-on experience with ADB, Logcat, Dumpsys, Bugreport, GDB, and Android traces.
• Experience with Git/Gerrit.
• Ability to debug issues across Android Framework ? Native Audio Framework ? Audio HAL.
