Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Pune is seeking an FP&A professional to support Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics deployments for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You will collaborate with finance and technology teams to keep planning cycles running smoothly.

The role requires 3+ years in FP&A and 2+ years with Cognos TM1/PAW/PAx, plus advanced Excel, ERP/SAP exposure. You will ensure security, master data updates, and provide guidance to business users.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in FP&A, budgeting and forecasting.
• 2+ years hands-on Cognos TM1/PAW/PAx.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support and administer IBM Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics applications for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Partner with Finance and Technology teams to ensure smooth planning cycles, issue resolution, and process improvements.
• Manage user access, security, master data updates, and planning model maintenance.
• Perform financial analysis, variance investigation, testing (UAT/SIT), and support system enhancements.
• Act as a functional SME, providing guidance and support to business users and stakeholders.

Your Role

• Support and administer IBM Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics applications for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Your Profile

• 3+ years of experience in FPA, Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics (PAW/PAx preferred).
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, variance analysis, and planning processes.
• Experience with user security management, testing activities, and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficient in Advanced Excel; exposure to SAP Finance, SAP BW, or ERP systems is an added advantage.
