Job summary

ADV TECHMINDS in Hyderabad is seeking an Expert Finance Professional with strong Cognos TM1 skills to build budgeting, forecasting and reporting models.

You will design cubes, implement security, and develop TI processes while collaborating with FP&A and finance teams. Documentation of reporting requirements and TM1 framework development are essential parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Cognos TM1 expertise with hands-on development and performance modeling (TM1 10.1+).
• Strong Oracle PL/SQL and other DB query skills.
• Excellent communication, including with overseas clients.
• Document reporting requirements clearly and accurately.
• Develop and publish BI packages using Cognos TM1 Framework.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and enhance TM1 financial systems for budgeting/forecasting and reporting.
• Collaborate with FP&A and finance teams to translate requirements into finance applications.
• Create, enhance and maintain Transformer cubes and Framework Manager models.
• Troubleshoot issues and support month-end processes.
• Provide technical/functional TM1 support across interfacing systems and coordinate with onsite-offshore teams.
• Deliver regular status reports weekly and monthly.

Seasoned resource with good hands on technical and communication skills

Required Skills:

• Cognos TM1 , Oracle , PL SQL , Strong Communication skills


• Hands-on development and performance modeler in Cognos TM1 (preferably TM1 10.1 and higher)


• Ability to write complex rules & Turbo Integrator processes (using TM1 cubes, DMR and reports)


• Model building ability create dimensions, cubes, links setup element/cube security


• Setup up security


• Create applications


• Expertise knowledge in Oracle PL/SQL & other database query languages


• Should possess following technical knowledge


• Should be able to document the Reporting Requirement


• Develop & publish BI packages using Cognos TM1 Framework


• Develop reports based on the reporting requirement


• Knowledge of Cognos Query, Report and Event studios


• Excellent communication skill (both verbal and written) with overseas client handling experience


• Experience in documenting functional and technical design


• Good knowledge in Finance modules like General Ledger, Account Payable & Receivable, Fixed Assets and so on

Expected participation in following activities:

• As an Expert Finance Professional, the person will be responsible for -


• Building, maintaining & enhancing the financial systems (TM1) for budgeting/forecasting and reporting


• Work closely with FP&A and other finance team in determining the financial requirements, translate it to design and develop specific finance applications


• Creating, enhancing and maintaining Transformer cubes, Framework manager models to support business requirements


• Involve in troubleshooting issues as and when arisen and support during month end activities


• Technical/functional support for all TM1 interfacing systems


• Engage with onsite-offshore team for daily activities


• Status reporting weekly and monthly basis
