Job summary

Samvith Technologies in Bengaluru (Peenya) seeks an experienced CNC Programmer for NPI and part prove-out. The role requires hands-on machine programming, multi-axis milling/turning, and strong fixture/process knowledge.

This is a demanding production engineering position with close collaboration with QA and manufacturing teams. 6 days a week work schedule; BE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 6–8 years of relevant experience is expected.

Qualifications

• BE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 6-8 years of experience in production engineering, CNC programming, and machine prove-out.
• Experience with Siemens NX for CNC mill/turn is essential.

Responsibilities

• NPD FAI part prove-out on machine with manual programming background.
• Operate multi-axis machines (Mill Turn, Turn Mills, VMC, HMC) for prove-out.
• Select cutting tools and optimize parameters for tool life and quality.
• Prepare CNC programs in Siemens NX and interpret drawings (GD&T).

Designation: CNC Programming NPI

Location - Peenya, Bangalore

Working - 6 days a week

Qualifications:

BE Mechanical or Diploma Mechanical Engineer

6-8 years of experience in Production engineering- CNC Programming & machine prove out.

Target Companies:

Key Skills Required:

• Core experience of part prove out on Turning, Milling & turn mill machines.
• Operating knowledge is mandatory with machine program knowledge.
• Knowledge about the manufacturing processes

• Knowledge about Modelling and Programing with Siemens NX suitable for CNC mill & turn machining sequence.
• Knowledge of Cycle time study, productivity ideas.
• MHR Calculation

Key Accountabilities:

• NPD FAI part prove out on machine with good manual machine programing background in recommended
• Knowledge of machine controllers like Siemens, Fanuc is required
• Machine auto-probing programing knowledge is an added advantage
• Operating experience of multi axis machines like Mill Turn, Turn Mills, VMC, HMC, Turning machines is necessary for prove out the NPD parts development.
• Selection of Cutting tools with optimized cutting parameter & knowledge for maximum tool life and quality of cut is must.
• Strong knowledge of process, fixture design, interpretation of drawing GD & T
• Preparation of part CNC programs in Siemens NX and prove out of components on machine is added advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of any CAD/CAM tools in a manufacturing environment is a must.
• Preparation of process sequence setup sheet for various operations.
• Preparation of tool layout and trial the new age cutting tools on machine.
• Cycle time estimation for new parts
• Cycle time reduction for existing parts to achieve cost reduction
• Interface and coordinate with In-house manufacturing, Quality and Production.
• Work very closely with production to ensure that all the NPD requirements will be closely met as planned.
• Sample development, proving the First Article Inspection to ensure highest quality required
• Review the inspection report and modification of program as per print.
• Knowledge of 5 axis machine programs is an added advantage
• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills is required.
