Job summary

Pranjal Projects Pvt. Ltd. in India seeks an experienced nesting and CNC programming specialist to support sheet metal and structural fabrication processes.

You will read drawings, generate cutting programs for laser, plasma, and oxy-fuel machines, and optimize material use while maintaining traceability and safety standards across production teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing nesting layouts for sheet metal and structural components.
• Ability to generate CNC cutting programs for laser, plasma, and oxy-fuel machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication drawings.
• Strong focus on material utilization and scrap minimization.
• Proficiency with SigmaNEST, Lantek, ProNest or equivalent CAD/CAM software.
• Familiarity with DXF/DWG file formats.
• Attention to plate thickness, material grade, dimensions, sequence and tolerances.
• Ability to coordinate with Design, Production, Planning and Quality departments.
• Ensure traceability and part identification; resolve cutting program errors.
• Maintain nesting reports and material consumption records.
• Follow OEM quality standards, production schedules and safety procedures.
