Job summary

ABCTrainings is seeking a mechanical engineer with CAM programming expertise to develop and optimize CAM programs for CNC machining. The role involves maintaining CAM libraries, improving production efficiency, and supporting capacity planning on the shop floor.

Ideal candidates will have a Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, experience with CAM software such as SolidCAM, and familiarity with G-code/M-code and CNC centers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• SolidCAM or CAM software knowledge required.
• Knowledge of G-code and M-code is essential.
• Experience with CNC machining centers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and optimize CAM programs for CNC machining.
• Maintain the CAM program library and improve machining efficiency.
• Support machine loading, capacity analysis, and production planning.
• Monitor machine utilization, spindle uptime, cycle times, and productivity.
• Optimize tooling, tool life, and tooling costs.
• Support fixture development, validation, and process improvement.
• Validate process changes through trials, time studies, and quality checks.
• Prepare process sheets, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
• Report machine and manpower performance to management.
