Job summary

Credit Saison India is seeking a Cluster Technical Manager to oversee IT operations and infrastructure across a designated cluster of sites, ensuring reliable and secure systems. The role requires leadership, strategic planning, and hands‑on problem‑solving within a fast‑growing NBFC environment.

You will develop technical roadmaps, manage budgets and vendor relationships, and collaborate with central IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 7+ years in IT infrastructure management, 3+ in leadership.
• Experience across multi-location clusters.
• Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, VCP or ITIL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of technical staff within the assigned cluster, including performance management, training, and development.
• Develop and implement technical strategies and roadmaps aligned with corporate IT policies.
• Oversee design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure across networks, servers, storage, and cloud.
• Ensure security and integrity of technical systems and data within the cluster.
• Manage IT budgets, procurements, and vendor relationships across the cluster.
• Collaborate with other cluster managers and central IT teams for consistency and efficiency.
• Provide expert technical support to resolve complex issues and minimize downtime.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability; implement proactive measures.
• Develop and maintain documentation for all technical systems and processes.
• Participate in on‑call rotations for incident response.

Job Summary

The Cluster Technical Manager will oversee the technical operations and infrastructure across a designated cluster of sites, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security of all systems and services. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and hands‑on technical problem‑solving.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of technical staff within the assigned cluster, including performance management, training, and development.
• Develop and implement technical strategies and roadmaps aligned with overall business objectives and corporate IT policies.
• Oversee the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud environments.
• Ensure the security and integrity of all technical systems and data within the cluster, adhering to best practices and compliance requirements.
• Manage IT budgets, procurements, and vendor relationships for technical equipment and services across the cluster.
• Collaborate with other cluster managers and central IT teams to ensure consistency and efficiency in technical operations.
• Provide expert technical support and guidance to resolve complex issues and minimize downtime.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability, implementing proactive measures for improvement.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all technical systems and processes.
• Participate in on‑call rotations for critical incident response as required.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven experience managing technical teams across multiple locations or a clustered environment.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, server operating systems (Windows and Linux), virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Solid knowledge of IT security principles, data backup and recovery strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
• Experience with IT service management frameworks (ITIL).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, VCP, ITIL Foundation) are a plus.
• Ability to travel regularly within the assigned cluster.
