Job summary

McAfee Bengaluru is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and cloud-native platforms. You will own architecture, coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence for business-critical applications.

The role emphasizes event-driven design with Kafka and hands-on experience across GoLang, Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Databricks. On-site 2–3 days weekly in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in microservices, backend development, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Amazon EKS for building, deploying, and operating cloud-native applications at scale.
• Strong proficiency in GoLang, Node.js, PostgreSQL, API design, and event-driven architectures built on Apache Kafka.

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable microservices and cloud-native applications. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, and operational support of microservices that power business-critical applications and platforms. Experience with Databricks, event-driven architectures, and modern DevOps practices is highly desirable.

Location

This is a Hybrid position located at our Bangalore, India development center. You will be required to be on‑site 2 to 3 days per week. When not on-site, you will work from home. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to our Bangalore office and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.
